St. Barnabus Nursing Home Reopening Plan

St. Barnabus Nursing Home Weekly Update

Better Outcomes – Higher Satisfaction

Whether an individual’s needs require short-term care or extensive rehabilitative support, St. Barnabas offers high quality health care in a comfortable, compassionate environment. We provide a host of services, ranging from post-hospitalization stays to long-term care. Our staff and physicians are accessible around-the-clock to respond to the needs of each of our patients.

Following a hospital or post-acute stay, a skilled nursing or short-term rehab stay may be needed in order to improve your transition back to the community or to a lower level of care. As a post-acute patient, you no longer need the acute care setting of the hospital; however, you still require nursing care and rehabilitation to aid in your recovery. All care is directed by your physician, and our team will be in regular contact with you, your family and your physician.

If your loved one needs long-term nursing care, you can rest assured that he or she will be well taken care of in your nursing home. At St. Barnabas, your loved one will be treated like family. Around-the-clock care is available for a loved whose health is declining, and our staff will make sure their physical and emotional needs are met. Residents are encouraged to participate in a variety to recreational and spiritual activities, and to establish a daily routine that includes getting out of bed, if possible, socializing and maintaining mobility. Specialized dietary plans help ensure their nutritional needs are met, while social activities help with mental awareness. Of course, visitors are welcome! Our nursing staff is kind, caring and compassionate. They specialize in taking care of the elderly and know how to brighten a patient’s day. Their experience and knowledge leads to the high-quality care we’re known for, but it is their compassion that makes them exceptional caregivers.
